CHILDREN

Children of catechetical age are prepared for the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Reconciliation. Children's Masses and Children's Liturgy of the Word are celebrated in the parish.

BAPTISM
Infant Baptisms are arranged by appointment.   Phone Rectory for information before or shortly after the child's birth.

For children who are candidates for Baptism, preparation occurs simultaneously with the preparation for First Eucharist.

SUNDAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
This parent co-operative program is for children ages 3 through kindergarten, and is offered during the 9:00 a.m. Mass from October to May. Parent(s) of children enrolled in the program take turns teaching and working in the classroom with the children on an average of once every two months. The curriculum teaches children about God by involving them in age level activities in which they learn about themselves and the world around them.  Comprehensive instructional materials for lessons are provided to parents in advance of their assigned Sunday to allow adequate time for preparation.

Each participant has a member of the parish who acts as a sponsor and with whom they can discuss and share their experience.
